With so many gadgets on market, especially for teenagers… the number #1 item on my 15-year-old daughter’s Christmas list was the Hydro Flask Insulated Water Bottle.
She was so adamant about the Hydro Flask that she did not hesitate to mention that if she didn’t deserve anything else that the Hydro Flask Insulated Water Bottle was the only Christmas present she needed.
Immediately I did my research to discover what was so special about this water bottle? What was all the hype about? Initially, I just assumed that by the name alone… you could count on hot beverages staying warm.
Boy… Was I in for a rude awakening!!

What can I say about this thing… for starters, I filled up the bottle with water and ice in the morning – by nightfall (at least 10 hrs in) there was still an exponential amount of ice left in the bottle to keep my water nice and chilled. So of course, I had to do the hot test… and the Hydro Flask did not disappoint as my coffee stayed nice and toasty throughout my workday.

When it’s all said and done… the Hydro Flask Insulated Water Bottle is definitely worth the price of admission. My daughter takes this bottle everywhere with her. Personally, I don’t get much mileage from my 32 oz bottle by working from home… but when I’m out and about it’s on!
Frankly speaking… there are competitors with similar features that are more moderately priced e.g., the Mira Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Wide Mouth Water Bottle.
However, Hydro Flask has an arsenal of other products to complement its wide mouth water bottle since first coming into the market:
Most importantly besides having a water bottle that can keep your drink cold for up to 24 hours is that the Hydro Flask is BPA Free. BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s. BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles.
